Michelle Borges (she/her) is an educator and artist from Massachusetts. She received an Associate Degree in Fine Art from Bristol Community College in May 2012. After graduation, she transferred to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where she attained a BFA in Art Education with a concentration in 3D/Sculpture Studies. In May 2020, she graduated with an MAE (Master of Art Education), summa cum laude, from UMass Dartmouth. Her thesis focused on Body Image and Art Education.
Borges has taught Art Education in public schools, colleges, after-school programs, summer camps, and managed arts-based education programs for a non-profit Art Museum.
She has exhibited in many shows throughout her career. Her most recent work is included in the juried 2024 Wild for Watercolor Exhibit at the Morini Gallery of The Mass Arts Center in Mansfield, MA. Borges is currently the Executive Assistant of the Fall River Arts & Culture Coalition and Program Manager of the SouthCoast Creative Arts Lab.
